PSK interns need to have completed at least two college accounting classes (usually six hours) and be working towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting. PSK interns work a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week but more hours may be available based on your class schedule and staffing needs. PSK internships provide real world experience, on-the-job training, and the ability to spend time in a mid-size firm. PSK internships are not seasonal with most interns working with us from twelve to eighteen months. PSK interns are part-time employees with pay and benefits including flexibility that allows time for classes and studying!

I chose PSK because of their uniqueness. PSK offers an internship that teaches you what you need to know about accounting starting from data entry to year end financials. Other firms offer internship programs only for "tax" or "audit." The uniqueness of PSK's internship because of being able to learn accounting from start to finish as well as shadowing both tax AND audit.
